Pretty simple. We had to design a symbol for ourselves in my Myth and Symbol class final. I did it all using the default shapes in photoshop and manipulating them. Figuring out the logic behind what I wanted my symbols to be was the fun part I think. Just to name out a few, I have the bear print with the turtle inside, Sisyphus rolling the boulder, the first box is supposed to symbolize the hydra, the second earth, fire, and organics, and the bottom is the tattoo design I created around Joss Whedon's shows two years back. The background is a simple layer texture off of cgtextures.com, and voila, my symbol.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
